International Lecture Organized By Udhampur Campus, University Of Jammu In Collaboration With University Of Jammu Special Purpose Vehicle Fund Under Udhampur Campus Capacity Building Series (UCCBS)

The Udhampur Campus, University of Jammu organised International lecture in collaboration with University of Jammu Special Purpose Vehicle Fund under Udhampur Campus Capacity Building Series (UCCBS) on the topic “Maslow’s Theory of Needs for Business Development: A Case Study Approach” on 15th July, 2021 under the rectorship of Professor Parikshat Singh Manhas. Ms. Mamta Sharma (Lecturer in Commerce), coordinator of the event, while giving the brief introduction about the webinar focused that Maslow’s need hierarchy provides a base for motivation to all the individuals starting from the accomplishment of their basic needs and moving step by step towards self actualization. While welcoming Professor Manoj K. Dhar, Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu, Professor Parikshat Singh Manhas, Rector Udhampur Campus (webinar convenor) and resource person, Prof.(Dr.) Anton Vorina, School of Economics,Vocational College, Celje., Slovenia. It was a very proud moment for the Udhampur Campus to organise such an innovative international event approach towards business development, which is not only a need of the hour but also had become an hot issue in the present pandemic scenario. We all have to work enthusiastically to make Udhampur Campus, University of Jammu a vibrant campus, a symbol of skill oriented, career developing and personality building educational hub.
Prof. Anton Vorina, started the webinar with his remarkable words, “electricity, love and money depicts the future world. He said Career planning refers to the strategy a person uses to determine career goals and the path to achieve those goals. The process integrates various activities, including how to motivate our self, about spiritual needs, new model of Maslow’s theory of needs, business development, strategies to defeat the various challenges in the life and in the business world. During the session the participants get familiar with the practical implications of maslows need hierarchy in the personal as well as professional life. Business development is multi-stage process that needs to be thoroughly planned and executed to reap the desired benefits.
There were 130 registrations for the international lecture from various colleges and universities from the different state of India. It is pertinent to mention that there were registrations from other countries like Slovenia, European Federation and Serbia. Mrs Mamta Sharma (coordinator) presented the vote of thanks. She thanked all the dignitaries, Patron Profesoor Manoj Dhar (Vice Chancellor University of Jammu) and special thanks to Professor Parikshat Singh Manhas, Rector, Udhampur Campus, University of Jammu who guided and supported to take an initiative to start Udhampur Campus Capacity Building Series (UCCBS). She extended gratitude to the esteemed resource person Prof. (Dr.) Anton Vorina, who spared his valuable time for sharing his intellect and experience on how to make life happy and successful.
She also thank to all the teaching and non teaching staff for their support and cooperation and special thanks to all the participants who make this event successful. All the teaching faculty was present during the webinar including Dr. Neetu Kumari, Ms. Mamta Sharma, Ms. Taruna Dubey. Dr. Shilpa Gupta, Dr. Kamini Datta, Dr. Ritika Sambyal, Mr. Nikhil Khajuria, Dr. Ajay Salgotra and Mr. Vinod Kumar.
