In a move to enhance teaching methodologies and embrace technology-driven education, Udhampur Campus organized a comprehensive workshop on Learning Management System (LMS) at Udhampur Campus, University of Jammu, on 13th September, 2024. Aimed to equip with the knowledge and skills necessary to leverage LMS effectively in their teaching practices, the participants, comprising students and faculty members, gained valuable insights into the implementation of LMS to create engaging and interactive online learning environments. In his virtual message to the audience, Prof. Yash Pal Sharma, Rector, Udhampur Campus, highlighted the significance of adopting LMS in higher education. He emphasized its role in fostering a dynamic and inclusive learning environment, allowing faculty members to cater to diverse learning styles and preferences. Mr. Nikhil Khajuria, lecturer, Udhampur campus, conducted the workshop's proceedings. He acquainted the students with the registration process on the LMS portal. He also familiarized the students with the various features of LMS like assignments, courses offered, attendance, profile editing, schedule of classes, etc. Also for the faculty, he covered various aspects of LMS, including course content creation, student engagement strategies, assessment tools, and data analytics.
